Frequently-used Google tools for me are Google search, Google map, Google Chrome, Google Plus and Blogger. I also tried Google Calendar, Google Docs and iGoogle on my computer. They all work well, just as expected. But to me, the most amazing thing actually is to discover Google apps on mobile.
I downloaded Google Latitude, Google Earth and Google Shopper for trial. While Google Latitude shares a similar check-in function as Foursquare and Google Earth’s function is not fresh things to me, I found Google Shopper kind of interesting and attractive. If you use your camera on your phone to scan the cover of a book, CD, DVD or video game, it could help you find the product simply. Also, you could find a product by barcode scanning or voice search. In addition to finding a product, the app could look for local stores or websites who are selling this product and provide the prices, so you could find the best price for this product. This app also provides today’s offer and nearby offers. I think the concept of this app is awesome, but when I tried this app for some products, it somehow provides the wrong message about the product name. Perhaps the technology for this app needs to be better improved.
Another app I found interesting is called G-whizz, like a Google apps browser. Within just one app, you could enjoy a plenty of Google tools, including Gmail, Picasa, Youtube, Reader, Calender, etc—which is fantastic!
